This Family Really Cooks

In May of 2005, Kelly Biggs and family showed off their culinary skills in the Better Homes and Gardens Family Cook-off.

To get to the Better Homes and Gardens® test kitchen in Iowa, the Biggs family first had to impress judges in the local competition, sponsored by The Meredith Corporation, Better Homes and Gardens®, WNEM TV5 and Jack’s Fruit Market.

“What an honor it was to be one of the first families to cook in the nation’s most famous test kitchen,” says Kelly. “Although we didn’t win the national cook-off, we had a great experience. The hosts from The Meredith Corporation and Better Homes and Gardens® were like no other. We cannot thank them enough for giving us this opportunity.”
To read about the cook-off, see the August 2005 issue of
Better Homes and Gardens®, p. 130.

Pillar, the five listeners and friends along with The Fuse Radio Crew came to have a full Thanksgiving Dinner. The listeners had a chance to talk to the guys and ask questions, take some photos along with great fellowship. Pillar is a great group of guys and we enjoyed having them stop by. Come back as see us again.
