Here’s How It Works

Step 1:
Plan

• Pick a session date and time.
• Select either a 10-dinner, 8-dinner, 6 dinner or 4 dinner menu from our 10 dinner choices. Each family sized dinner feeds 4 to 6 people, depending on appetites or Dinner for Two feeds 2 people. (Adjust accordingly for a family favorite.) To order, email us your order at orders@themenumanager.net, or call 989.835.FOOD (3663) to make arrangements.
• Come with a friend to share the preparation and meals. Or schedule a private party, bring a bottle of wine to share and get ready to have lots of fun!

Step 2:

Preparation

• Arrive at the studio, 4983 Eastman Ave., 5 to 10 minutes prior to your session.
• Pull your hair back, put on an apron and wash your hands.
• Sign in and receive your menu from your order. If this is your first session, our staff will give you an orientation on how to assemble your dinners.
• Proceed to a station. Everything you need will be provided at each station. Follow the easy step-by-step instructions to assemble your dinner. Since you’re the chef, feel free to improvise according to your family’s taste. (If they don’t like onions, leave them off.) The main ingredients, such as meat or seafood, are portion controlled.
• Package your dinner, place a cooking instruction label on it and put it in our refrigerator until all of your dinners are assembled. Once finished, have one of our staff members sign you out and reserve your dinners and session for next month. Place all of your dinners into a cooler or tote you brought from home, and head home to stock your freezer.

Step 3:

The Reward

• When you get home, place your dinners in the freezer to be cooked throughout the month. – Each week, place three dinners in your refrigerator to defrost. (Never thaw your meals on the counter.) When you are ready, follow the simple cooking instructions. Set the table, and enjoy a home-cooked dinner with your family.
• Relax.
